I have been tracking my adword account for last 1 week and found that i was getting a lot of clicks but less sales and it was mostly for affiliate products. I did a deep reasearch and came to know that most of PPC users check their competitor’s ads, just by clicking on sponsered links. This way they can check their competitor’s site but as they are not going to buy any stuff out there but their purpose is to check the site. Advertisers have to pay money for those useless clicks. Today you are checking other’s ads but tomorrow you may be victim too. You can avoid being involved in Click Fraud by using the below technique:-

Right click on the ad link and click on properties. Copy the address and paste in notepad.

You will find the code as below:-

Copy the domain http://www.mydomain.com and check the site in browser. This way you can avoid click fraud and advertisers may save the money which would have been otherwise paid for unnecessary clicks.
