You might be knowing that .edu links are very important from SEO point of view. edu links have more weight than normal links like .com, .info etc. But getting .edu links is difficult than other links as only Educational universities can get .edu domains. The only way to get .edu links is to comment on .edu and blogs and forums and there is a way to find .edu blogs and forums in google.  This is really a great technique to build High Page Rank and Authority links.

Checking .edu forums:-

Go to www.google.com and search for the query: -
1. inurl:.edu/phpbb
2. inurl:.edu/phpbb1
3. inurl:.edu/phpbb2

The above queries will return a list of .edu forum threads.

Checking .edu Blogs:-

(site:edu and “inurl:blog”) “intext:keyword”

The below query will directly give you the list of only those .edu blogs which allow comments, This way you will directly get the list of those blogs which accepts comment.
